Volunteer Incentive

The Volunteer Incentive Program provides a platform to recruit, train and appropriately place volunteers into community sport and active recreation opportunities with the intent of building the provider’s capacity to deliver successful and inclusive opportunities for the broader community.

The three main objectives of the Program are:

  • Referral: Providing sports and recreation with suitable volunteers who seek opportunities within the City of Monash
  • Development: Providing volunteers as well as providers with training opportunities that will support their roles as volunteers.
  • Advice: Helping providers better manage their volunteers in terms of recruitment, recognition, development as well as analysing where they may need new volunteers within their organisation
